Pairing Wine With My Life's Adventure

REINVENTION: Quit my job in IT, sold my house and moved from Cal to NYC for sommelier classes. GETTING MY HANDS DIRTY: Moved to Napa and worked in a vineyard making wine. TRAVEL: Through France and Italy on a wine scavenger hunt. Sto cambiando la mia vita e desidero imparare circa vino. Je change ma vie et je veux me renseigner sur le vin. TRY TO GET SERIOUS: Living in New York for 4 years and working as a Sommelier. NEW GOALS: Do my own thing, find love, speak Spanish, live wine.

NYPD

I didn't get arrested but my car did. My car got towed, and it was an adventure to find it and pay to set it free.

Over the weekend I took a drive to the new Fairway grocery store in Red Hook. Very nice big store and Red Hood is a really cute hood, no subway there though . As we were leaving the store I noticed a great view of the Statue of Liberty.

As I went looking for propane and the tow yard, I saw areas where Tony Soprano would dump bodies. I know you are probably saying he's in Jersey, but I'm guessing it looks the same.

IL Mimo, a rose of nebbiolo, was the wine I had at Gramercy. I made a mistake in my earlier post. I had the Spanish rose at Bar Jamon (very cute bar, but tini tiny).

I worked some "try out" shifts over the weekend, and I got a job.

Welcome to the working week Mags. Katelmmanpower and I were sending you the vibe last night (after he saw ManRam and the Sox take down the moneyballers).

Reading "Nasty Bites" by Anthony Bourdain. You also need to keep checking out megnut.com--Michael Ruhlman has been guest blogging.

    Live your greatness chica.
