no clothes for cheap rent

I think I paired last year's apartment search with Chianti, this year it's Barabara d'Alba. It's earthiness makes me think of the slice of land I would like to have, and that I would like to go back to Italy. I'm looking for a place to live while 30 seconds is the new New York minute.

Check out this post from Craigslist: "Furnished bedroom available in spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Doorman, high floor, city and sunset views, sunny, etc. Washer, dryer and dishwasher in the apartment. The apartment has good heat, is quiet for sleeping, has good air-conditioning, high speed internet and a spare computer for the roommate's use. It's an elevator building and there is a health club in the building. I'm looking for a female roommate who will occasionally not wear clothes when I ask in exchange for free rent. No sex whatsoever required. Otherwise the rent is $690/month, everything included."

My question is what kind of computer is the spare and how fast is the connection? Now I would be willing to do this (because the apartment/room-to-rent situation is getting desperate) if it weren't for my lack of doing sit ups and the not so flat stomach situation. Maybe the cheap rent would be incentive for me to exercise... ? What's happening in NY right now? Another posting was from a person who was pissed off, couldn't find a place and bid farewell to the city.

It feels like fall is here. I've been a bit out of my mind, but it's getting better. Work has been very interesting. I missed all my peeps back in Vegas for the high school reunion. Thanks for sending the pics and illustrating to me that I'm losing my memory.

what do you think?

I'm taking a break from the blog while I get my sea legs on this new job. I'm thinking about retiring from the blog world. What would you do?
